Tartar Sauce

Ingredients
- Plain Yogurt (regular or Greek)½ cup
- Sweet Pickles, minced3 tbsp
- Onion, minced1 tbsp
- Capers, minced1 tbsp
- Lemon Juice2 tsp
- White Vinegar1 tsp
- Dijon Mustard1 tsp
- Salt½ tsp
- Dill¼ tsp
Method
- Mix. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well combined.
- Taste and adjust. Add more lemon juice or salt to taste.
- Chill. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving — the flavour improves as it sits. Keeps for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
💡 Using yogurt instead of mayo makes this lighter than traditional tartar sauce without losing the creamy texture. Fresh dill is stronger than dried — use sparingly if substituting.
