Spicy Soy Sauce Dressing

Ingredients
- Soy Sauce1 cup
- Gochugaru2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced3–4 cloves
- Scallions, chopped2
- Red Onion, finely diced¼ cup
- Shishito or Jalapeño, sliced1
- Fresno Pepper, sliced1
- Brown Rice Syrup or Maple Syrup2 tbsp
- Rice Vinegar1 tbsp
- Mirin1 tbsp
- Black Pepper1 tsp
- Ground Turmeric½ tsp
Method
- Whisk. In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients until combined.
- Store. Transfer to a covered container and refrigerate for up to 1 month. Shake well before each use.
💡 Serve with Dooboo Jeon (Tofu Cakes), drizzle over rice, beans, or roasted veg, or use to braise tofu. Takes 15 minutes and lasts weeks — make a full batch and use it constantly. Gochugaru is Korean red pepper flakes, found at Asian grocery stores.
